Fortnite’s latest season just dropped, and it’s taking players back to ancient Greece! Fortnite Chapter 5: Season 2 is called “Myths & Mortals,” and it’s all about Greek mythology.

You’ll get to play as famous Greek gods, battle it out on Mount Olympus, and even wield Zeus’ thunderbolt!

But before the season kicked off, there was a cool event in the game involving Pandora’s Box.

Epic Games added some mythological spots to the map, like Mount Olympus and the underworld, which is guarded by Cerberus, the three-headed dog.

And there are cool power-ups and items you can find too, like the Wings of Icarus that let you fly, Zeus’ bolts which let you shoot lightning at enemies, and a weapon called the Chains of Hades that’ll be available later on.

Of course, with a new season comes a new battle pass. If you get this season’s battle pass, you’ll unlock lots of cool stuff, including Greek gods like Aphrodite and Medusa.

There’s even a cute version of Poseidon made out of Slurp Juice! And later in the season, you’ll be able to unlock Korra from “Avatar: The Last Airbender” too.

This season marks a big change for Fortnite since the launch of Chapter 5. While the battle royale mode is still super popular, Fortnite has become more than just a game.

It’s now a platform for other games too, like Lego Fortnite, Rocket Racing, and the Fortnite Festival.

Epic Games has been super busy lately. In February, Disney put $1.5 billion into the company to help build a huge gaming and entertainment universe.

And they’ve been in a bit of a fight with Apple over changes to the App Store.
