I was personally surprised by the series ending of Queen of Tears. It’s the longest episode at an hour and 49 minutes, longer than some movies!

But hey, that means more time to stretch out the story and take it to unexpected places.

Even though we could kinda guess how things would wrap up, the finale still brings plenty of drama, which is super exciting.

In the final episode, Queen of Tears doesn’t just give us a happy ending for Hae-In and Hyun-Woo, but it also ties up loose ends for all the important characters.

There are some redemption stories, but not everyone’s gonna be thrilled with what happens to Eun-Sung. I was a bit disappointed.

And you know what’s kinda lame? The final villain ends up being just one person when really, two people were equally to blame for messing up the Hong family’s life. But I guess that’s how K-dramas roll sometimes.

So yeah, the ending might shock you, but it’s worth watching till the end.

She tries to escape but gets caught by Eun-Sung. Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo’s family rushes to the hospital, but he’s vanished.

He’s too weak to move but calls a lawyer friend to fetch him. Hae-In claims amnesia, but it turns out she’s just trusting her own notes.

Grace tricks Seul-Hee to find Hae-In’s location, and Hyun-Woo heads there alone, fearing for Hae-In’s safety in the snow.

Hae-In escapes from the house and meets Hyun-Woo halfway. They try to run away together.

Suddenly, Eun-Sung appears with a shotgun, stopping them. He tells Hae-In she still has a chance to be with him, but she refuses.

This angers Eun-Sung, and despite the cops around, he shoots at Hae-In. Hyun-Woo shields her and gets shot in the shoulder. Then, the cops shoot Eun-Sung.

Earlier, we found out that Seul-Hee caused the boat incident years ago to harm Hae-In and her brother.

However, Hyun-Woo saved Hae-In. Eun-Sung witnessed it but kept quiet to stay with his mom. Presently, Hae-In overhears Seul-Hee saying she wishes Hae-In had died that day.

In the meantime, Hyun-Woo realizes his love for Hae-In and risks his life to save her.

In “Queen of Tears,” the ending brings a mix of emotions to the characters. Seul-Hee’s journey takes a dramatic turn when she’s imprisoned for her misdeeds.

But her downfall doesn’t end there, as she faces violence from her inmates, highlighting the consequences of her actions.

Meanwhile, Hyun-Woo fights for his life in the hospital, supported by unexpected allies like Hae-In’s mother, who acknowledges his kindness towards her daughter. As he recuperates, plans unfold to reclaim what was lost and seek justice for past wrongs.

The story also sees unexpected alliances forming, as family members and friends come together to right the wrongs of the past.

Da-Hye and Grace find support in Soo-Cheol and Geon-U upon their release from prison, while Beom-Ja and Yeong-Song embark on a new chapter in their relationship.
